Attribute delete protection

I have an attribute Set "Notes" with "Date" and "Comments"

I notice it takes 6 mouse clicks to add a record and enter the current date&time using the date picker but only 2 to delete the record again.

I would very much appreciate kind of a write protection option for those records.

Or, If I could disable the delete button in preferences (or do I not know?)
