video thumbnails

Hi everybody.

I do a lot of videos with the Blackmagic pocket camera and I need to manage lots of prores shootings (.mov), but i can't see thumbnails in this format. How can I see them?

welcome to the IMatch community.

IMatch produces thumbnails for video files via built-in services provided by Windows. Since .mov is an Apple format (mostly), support for it depends on whether or not a matching video codec is installed. I think that many IMatch users hard good success with a free software called MediaPreview.

After installing the codec or Media Preview, rescan the videos in IMatch (Press <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<F5> in the File Window) to force IMatch to re-create the thumbnails.
