Hi all
This is a kind of "lazy" question, because I could look myself.  ;D
But to be honest I am really too lazy just now.  8)

I want send for customers sometimes some text as output, say the headline, description and so on.
This output should be esay readable for the client, means, he must not read it in the html-browser.

The text should be simply in a mail.
But the output should be also possible with bold fonts like this:

File-Name: 20160804-1245-294944-s-coo-lernende-gruppe2_m_v1.jpg

...

What would you use for this task?
A tingletangle script?  :-[
A export modul (with the copy data app I had troubles with bold and so...)
Some other ideas?

Maybe someone has an idea for this?

BTW:
I have for example a html-output, but I do not know how to "convert" it into an easy txt.
Hence it is perhaps easier to use another way.

Here a fraction of my html-file:
...
<table class=tablewichtig>

<tr>
<td class="legende7" >Stackname</td>
<td class="loc">{File.MD.XMP::dc\relation\Relation\0}</td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td class="legende7">Kunden-Name</td>
<td class="loc">{File.MD.XMP::photoshop\TransmissionReference\TransmissionReference\0}</td>
</tr>

<tr>
<td class="legende7">Headline</td>
<td class="head">{File.MD.XMP::photoshop\Headline\Headline\0}</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="legende7">Description</td>
<td class="desc">{File.MD.XMP::dc\description\Description\0}</td>
</tr>

Normal text (I think what you mean with "easy text") cannot have attributes like bold or colored text. If you want to send something like this to your clients, you need to produce a PDF file, a RTF document, a HTML file or maybe a Word or Excel document. Or you create HTML emails with custom formatting. This is not possible with the built-in email feature in IMatch.

IMatch has the Text Export module which allows you to export metadata with many options. You can import the resulting output into Word or Excel to produce your list. The Copy Data app is also a way to quickly copy data from IMatch into Word or whatever. No styles here as well, this is plain text.

I personally would setup a Design & Print document which includes all this info, maybe a thumbnail as well.
And then print it to a PDF file and send it to your client.

Several IMatch users do exactly that already. Printing contact or detail sheets with Design & Print and send the result as PDF to their clients.

I agree with Mario's suggestion to create a Design & Print document that will do what you want.  I often share groups of photos with friends, and although they don't usually need to know all the details that sinus mentioned, they do need some of the basic description and other metadata, and at the very least need to know the image's filename and date so that they can request a full-resolution copy from me at a later time, if they wish.  In order to do this, I've made (and I keep refining) a D&P template that now produces groups of images (or PDF files, which tend to be slightly more compact) like the two I've attached.  For single images, I also have a preset in the Image Batch Processor that does something quite similar.

IMatch is so very powerful!!

Thanks both of you, Mario and BajoTom

Well, I think, this is the best thing to do, like you both proposed.
And it is easy done, once some work to design a template and that's it.

Tom, your examples looks very good, Gratulations!

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

Mario, a quick followup question: if I want to share the D&P template I developed (examples shown above) - with Sinus, or anyone else who uses IMatch -- what file do I need to find and send, and where should it be located?  I'm sure I can hunt for this, but I'll bet you can answer the question VERY quickly!  Many thanks . . .

Just right-click on your template in the Template View and choose Open in Windows Explorer.
This opens an Explorer window with your template already highlighted. This file is all you need, unless you have used external resources such as graphics of bitmaps in your template. Send them as well.
