Search Attributes in the Database

When using the search function for an attribute the system looks up only within the selected folder. If I select the complete database the search function doesn't work.
Question: how can I search the complete database for one particular attribute?

I assume you are using the search bar above the file window?

The search bar searches the current scope, whatever you bring into the file window.
To search an entire database, select the Database Node in the Media & Folders View.

Note that this will pause the file window (to prevent accidentally display all files). To see the search result you have to un-pause the file window.
