Since I have installed iMatch 2017 I have been unable to send pictures via outlook.  I currently have office 365 with outlook 2016 and iMatch tells me that I need to set outlook as the default email program... but that has already been done.  I believe the error may be due to the fact that my office in the 64 bit version?   What are my options for sending images via email directly from iMatch?   I reinstalled office, but that didn't help.

You cannot "send" files via Outlook with IMatch. IMatch directly connects to your mail server, it does not use Outlook or other email clients. I use Outlook in 64 bit myself,

Quoteand iMatch tells me that I need to set ou

When does IMatch tells you that? What is the exact message (Screen Shot)?
I'm pretty sure that I did not program such a message...

I've just successfully sent myself some messages with images from IMatch. Works great. W10 with Outlook installed.

Hello,
this may necessarily fit your need, but I find it far more convenient to just drag the picture(s) from iMatch directly into my open e-mail message. No need to bother configuring the e-mail in the export panel (though mine worked fine without even having to do that).
It just depends whether one wishes to either:
a) write the message first (and drag the pic in) or
b) open the panel and drag the pics on the e-mail there, and then write your message once the mail program opens.

Using drag & drop of course works, with all email applications. And other applications as well.

The advantage of the built-in email export is that it can run a batch processor preset on the images before sending them (e.g. to resize them or to add a watermark) and that it can pack multiple files into a convenient ZIP archive.

Solved

I reinstalled office using the 32 bit option and now iMatch works fine with outlook.  Not really sure that was the problem if others can use the 64 bit version without a problem.

I should have gotten a screenshot of the message, but it basically told me that outlook was not the default email program (although it was).
It may have been a windows or MS office message, I am not sure.
Have been having other problems with outlook, so likely an MS Office problem rather than iMatch.

IMatch does not use Outlook. It can work on systems without any email client program installed. IMatch communicates directly with your mail server.
