I just upgraded to 2017.11.4, and I notice in the Metadata panel, in the Core Data section, the Date Created, Date Digitized, and Date Modified fields don't show the time zone any more. If I click on a date to edit it, the time zone info is there, but once I'm done editing, the time zone is hidden again. Is there a setting that changes whether the time zone is displayed?

Mario

This is normal.
IMatch displays these timestamps in your local time zone ("your time"). This is a convenience feature. The Metadata panel will also use literal names like "Today" when you have created the image today.

Mario is there no way to change this?
For me it's important in which timezone the pictures are and now i don't have any chance to see it without clicking on every picture :-(
Otherwise i have to check every picture over the exif viewer. Not so comfortable at all.
For me its a backward feature.

I replies nonsense yesterday, sorry..

IMatch should show things like Today or Yesterday when a timestamp matches. But it should show the time zones data if a time-zone offset is specified in the timestamp.
This is linked to a problem I've just discovered this afternoon. Under some conditions an internal routine does not set the "has time-zone" flag when formatting a timestamp, and this causes this problem. As far as I could determine this is caused by a change in the time parsing algorithm introduced recently. This change was required to handle even more time formatting variants introduced by some applications.

I will fix this for the next scheduled release (soon).
