As for me I was quite happy with 3.6 so far, since I have a limited use of this software. Nevertheless I might buy the 2017 version. Is there a way to migrate?

The info is 3 years old but still valid. You can try this with the TRIAL version of IMatch 2017.
Note: Make sure you install the 32-bit version. Only the 32-bit version has the database converter for IMatch 3 databases.

Mario, thanks migration worked just fine. Can I now install the 64 bit version without reinstallation of the 32 bit version? There is one thing I am not so happy with. I do a lot of IPTC editing of files that I scan (old photos). In the old version I was able to configure a one-klick-option on the thumbs and the IPTC editor would pop up. I could easily edit my files. Is that possible in IMatch 2017?

Mario

You can install the 64-bit version just on top of the 32-bit version. Your database and settings will remain.

There is no IPTC editor in IMatch 2017. IPTC metadata has been declared deprecated 10 years ago by the IPTC.
To edit metadata in IMatch 2017 use the Metadata and Keyword Panel.

Make sure you read the "For IMatch 3 users" topic in the IMatch help first.
