[GERMAN]: Anzeigen der Fokuspunkte möglich?

Manchmal möchte ich gern wissen, wohin ich im Bild den Fokuspunkt gesetzt habe.

In IM bin ich nicht fündig geworden (z.B. in der Bilderschau) und nehme an sowas gibt es nicht, oooder ich habe an der falschen Stelle gesucht.

Mit Photo Me kann man das anzeigen lassen, aber die Anzeige ist recht klein und die App ist außerdem seit 10 Jahren tot.

Hat jemand einen Tipp oder ist das in IMatch realisierbar (das wäre mir am liebsten)?

Alle paar Jahre kommt ein Anwender mal mit dieser Frage.
Die Anzeige von Fokumspunkten in einem DAM ist nicht wirklich etwas, das viele Anwender benötigen. In einem RAW-Editor, eher.
Die Speicherung von Fokuspunkten in Metadaten ist nicht standardisiert und jeder Kamerahersteller (und oft auch jede Kamera) speichern Fokuspunkte auf verschiedene Weise.
IMatch müsste also für eine Vielzahl von Kameramodellen wissen, wie die Kamera Fokuspunkte speichert und diese dann extrahieren und abbilden. Das wäre sehr aufwändig und nur für wenige Anwender wirklich nützlich.

Ja, das sehe ich ein und die Antwort habe ich auch so ähnlich erwartet. Aber eine Anfrage tut ja nicht weh.

Perhaps this could be an app if someone was interested in designing it. However, as Mario says, every make (and probably model) does focus point differently. But if someone did create it, it wouldn't take as much skill to modify it for other cameras.

One problem with this approach is that the cameras (often) don't store the focus point info, but rather a "tag" or "number" of the selected layout.
You need to know the focus point layout (!) for the specific camera model to make sense of the information...

For example, you'll see info like

AF Area Mode                    : Single Area
Phase Detect AF                 : On (153-point)
AF Points Used                  : E9
Primary AF Point                : E9 (Center)
AF Point Selection              : 55 Points


This is for a Nikon D850.
Now it's up to you to transform this information in a focus point grid you can overlay on top of an image.
Studying the camera manual to figure out the layouts supported, taking test shots to see which data is written for which modes etc.

Of course a feature in IMatch could be written (or an app) which not only can overlay the focus points, but also enables users to extend the focus point database with their own camera models (instructions for test shots, a layout editor, etc.). If users can be bothered.

I see this as a rather large project. If a user wants to take it, be my guest.

And not to forget: if you crop the image your display will be wrong. Means that the app which crops has to remove the info
so as not to leave the wrong info. Similar problem as with face markings.
