Spell Checker

I need to install my spell checker. Where can I down load it and how do I install it? I have done a lot searching for this in the photools.community.

Hi Carl - is this info in the help file helpful (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#spellchecker.htm) or did you already do these steps (set the folder, etc) and it is just isn't working?  See the section: Downloading Dictionaries For Your Language for locations to download the file from.  Good luck!

It would be helpful if you would tell us where you have problems?

Finding a dictionary for your language?
Downloading the file?
Copying the dictionary into the right folder on your disk?

Start by downloading the dictionary for your language. I guess US English is the right one? You can download it from this page:

https://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/us-english-spell-checking-dictionary

Green button on the right.
After downloading you have a file named en_us.oxt on your disk. Rename it to en_us.oxt.zip so you can open it in Windows Explorer.

Then follow the instructions given on the "How to install your spell checker dictionary" help page. I cannot explain that better in a post.
