How can I get rid of a DD-category?

I cannot push ok, see my attachement.

You cannot save a data-driven category without at least one enabled level. Such a category is invalid.

Yes, but if I click Cancel, the DD-category will be still there.
But I want to get rid of the DD-category.

OK, I have to delete the whole category, then it works.

This is how to do it. You cannot "convert" a data-driven category back into a normal category, if this is what you wanted to do.
