Map place search not working?

Hi all - I have just installed the latest version of imatch and I have found the map panel place search function doesn't appear to work.  I have open street maps selected and search with Geonames.org selected.  I have tried search for a new names on the map and nothing happens when I press the return key after entering the search string.  I have used this loads on the 2017 version I have just upgraded.  I should add if I manually extract the coords from google maps and place them in the search coords dialog box, it all works. ANy advice?

Have you entered a valid GeoNames.org user name under Edit > Preferences > Geo & Maps? GeoNames requires this, else no search!
