Hi,

I have moved from full HD to 4k display and now my thumbnails are shown very small.
I know I can change the thumbnail size in the database, but that also makes the database bigger.
Is there a way to automatically enlarge the thumbnails so they fit into the actual grid? This is obviously done when the thumbnails have to be shrinked due to a small grid, but they are not enlarged.

By default IMatch displays the thumbnails with a maximum size of 100%
The standard 300 pixel thumbnails are good even for 4K screens, unless you have to use an insane DPI scaling (e.g. on tiny 4K notebook monitors which need 250% scaling just to make fonts readable again).
I use 300 pixel thumbnails on all my 4K monitors, with 150% scaling. My monitors are big.

You can configure IMatch to upsample your small thumbnails under Edit > Preferences > Application. Search for enlarge on that page.
Note that this will make your thumbnails bigger by inventing pixels. Some blurriness may occur, depending on how large you blow up the thumbnail panels.

Ahh, I did not know this setting. Always learning something new... :D
It is clear that by zooming/enlarging the thumbnails, they will become somehow blurry, but that's okay.
Thanks a lot!
