Design & Print: list of content?

Hi all

This is really only a question, just in case I missed something.

Say, I created a booklet with D&P with 150 pages.
On each page is one image, sometimes more.

Is there a way to make a table of contents at the end of the booklet (or at the beginning),
on which again all pictures are shown in small size, and always with the note on which page this picture can be found?

I don't think that's possible, in any case I have no idea how to do that. Because if the photos are "consumed" by D&P, how are they supposed to "go through" again?
And how should D&P know, what Image is on what page?
And when I create a new template, it doesn't know which page the pictures are on.

So I guess only the manual input is possible. And this is not really a problem, but if I change always some images, it has to edit quite often.

But who knows, maybe someone has a clever idea?
As I said, it's really just a question, not a FR or something, I want only to be sure, that it is really not possible.  ;D

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)

This is beyond the scale of Design & Print. That's more for full-fledged DTP software.

Thanks for the answer, I thought that already, but I wanted to be absolutely sure.
All right, working with D&P is fun - thanks!  :D

Sinus if you are wanting those sort of features it might be worth your while taking a look at the beta version of Affinity Publisher https://affinity.serif.com/en-gb/publisher/

interesting to see that they finally came out with the beta... I've been using Indesign for over 18 years - will be interesting to see how this product competes over the long haul..

EDIT: funny - I just watched the tutorial vidoes they provide and this is like a 100% Indesign clone... even the names of things and how to apply them (ie: Master Pages) is the exact same thing.  I mean - why mess with something that works.. but wow... why not just call this Pseduo-Indesign!?!?

Thanks, Lincoln
But I have InDesign and IMatch D&P, hence no more necessary (at the moment).
I am quite sure, one day I will find a way to do this with D&P  ;D
