I just noticed that the root keyword [WHO] does not show up in the path string of the hierarchical keywords shown on my thumbnails.  While iMatch shipped with the [WHO] root keyword already in the hierarchy, any root keywords that I added myself do show up in the path string.  Is it possible for me to add root keywords myself, that will not show up in the path string? Can I choose for particular keywords to either have them show up or not show up in the path string?

Thanks.

Mario

This keyword is marked as a group level so it does not become part of the actual keyword. It's for organizational purposes only.
You can change that in the Thesaurus Manager.

If you don't know yet what group level keywords are, or exclusion levels etc. check out the Thesaurus help topic:

Thanks for the helpful advice.
Retroactively I have marked most of my top level keywords as "group level" in the thesaurus manager.  This gets applied to new annotations, but the not to the photographs that were previously annotated.
Is there a simple way to force an update to photographs that had already been keyworded before the keyword was changed to "group level" ?

You can move the files in the @Keywords category hierarchy after adding the keyword to @Keywords (to add another level) or just move the files if you want to remove a level.
Check out the corresponding video in the IMatch Learning Center
