Map panel not working

Yesterday there was no problem with viewing maps.
Today on opening IM, there was a message that IM Web Services are not running, but I overrode that and IM functioned normally.  Except when I want to view the map panel, I get the message that IM Web services are not running.  At present I am not using this facility - I have yet to install the new IMatch Anywhere. However IM Web services are enable in Preferences>Application.

Is this a temporary blip?

IMatch WebServices are used internally by IMatch to run apps. And the Map Panel.
Do other apps work?
What is the exact error message) See log file

Have you tried to reboot your system once?

Maybe another installed software has allocated the port used by IMWS in IMatch?
In that case you get a corresponding message and you have to change the port in Edit > Preferences > Application. Just increment by one, restart IMatch and when the message is gone, a free port was found.

Thanks Mario.  I shut IM down and opened again and the problem has gone away.  A temporary blip.
