Can't break Version Link

Okay, I simply have two PDF files that have an IMatch Version Link, but when I try to make use of the Version Panel, only the master file is displayed, and this, only if that master file is selected!  The version file is not displayed, and if I select that version file and open of the Version Panel, nothing at all is displayed.  I tried to just break this relation, but I can't.  What could be going on?

Mario

The version panel shows the current versions set. If you select no master, it cannot display anything so that's normal.

Select the master, open the context menu and choose Versioning > Show all versions or press F4,S. This opens the master and all versions in a new result window.

Okay, I tried that, and I got a "No Results" dialog.  But, what I'm trying to do is to simply delete this Version Stack, and I can't seem to do that.  So, what do I have to do to dissolve this relation?

Mario

If the master has no versions, there is no version stack. Version stacks are implicit.
Maybe you work with a regular stack?

I think there has been a misunderstanding.  I KNOW (because of the icons) that it is a version stack, and not a regular stack.  If the master file is selected, and I open up the Version Panel, that one master file is displayed therein, but if I have the version file in focus and I open the Version Panel, I get a "No version set in scope." message.

Mario

But you said there are no versions showing when you open the version set in a result window?
What does the database diagnosis report? What did you do to make this happen? What happens when you just select the master and perform a relations refresh (Commands menu > Relations > Refresh)?

Your last suggestion to refresh the relation did the trick!
