Face Detection

Using Imatch 2019 8.4. I ran face annotations-detect faces. That works fine and I can see the green square and question mark over the face in quick view. When I click on the question mark nothing happens. Can't find exactly where else to go to in the help section in order to assign a name to the face annotation.

The current version is for IMatch 2020. And the web help is always for the current version of IMatch.

IMatch 2019 had only simple face detection but no face recognition.
You can enter a tag for an annotation by selecting the annotation and then pressing F2.

Does that mean that once a face is found in my 2019 version that nothing can be done with it for searching, etc?

IMatch 2019 manages all files with face annotations in collections.
Which means you can search etc.

IMatch 2019 is out-of-date.
