Option To Pause Large Database File Ingest ?

Unlike some other catalog software, IMatch flatlines my cpu to speed up the metadata read process when adding new files.  If I have a lot of files, cpu temps start getting higher than I like because they are processing at 100% for 10 plus minutes straight.  Anywway to pause to let them cool down, or to throttle cpu ?

You can always close IMatch. It will continue where it stopped next time.

IMatch tries to balance things, depending on the number of processor cores and performance.
This usually works well, but there are always exceptions (notebooks...).

You can reduce the number of "threads" IMatch uses for ingesting files and metadata.
Try with 2 for both values. See Process Control (Advanced Setting) for details.
