Keep focus on file window

One thing has been annoying me for a long time, so here's a feature request:

Often, I switch from folder to folder in the "Media & Folders" panel and each time I have clicked on a different folder I want to quickly scroll through the thumbnails in the file window. But instead of just hitting the arrow or PgUp/PgDn keys or scroll with the mouse wheel, I first have to click on an image in the file window. I'd LOVE to have the focus switch back to the file window immediately without that additional step.

IMatch automatically forwards mouse messages (scroll wheel) to the window under the cursor. So you can scroll with the mouse wheel always.
Keyboard messages are sent by Windows to the window with the input focus, which is the tree in the Media & Folders View after you have clicked it. Clicking activates the window and Windows sends all keyword messages to the active window.

Somehow that doesn't always work on my PC. Strange.

I think it would also be more consistent if keyboard and mouse inputs would always go to the same window/panel.

Windows sends keyboards events to the active/focused window.
The trick IMatch uses so you can always scroll the window under the mouse is a bonus.

give mousewiz a try... I use it on most of my PC's and never have to click a window to use the wheel to scroll... I find win10 handles this most of the time.. but mousewiz supercedes!

I see no problem with scrolling the window under the mouse in IMatch? Does this not work on your PC?
Besides, this is not about mousing but about sending keyboard events to a non-active window (which Windows does not do).

I misunderstood then... yes - scrolling works fine in IMatch...
