Turn Off - File Window Tip And Show Nothing When Mouse Hovers ?

Anyway to turn off this feature.  I really like less popups and clutter.  Or would rather I prefer to choose info., instead of each time my mouse happens to settle on a spot something pops up.

The File Window info tip only shows up when you point the mouse at the "info" icon, or when you point the mouse for > 1 second at the upper right corner of the thumbnail panel when no icons are displayed. The contents of the File Window tip can be configured under Edit > Preferences > File Window Tip

Feel free to make a feature request in the appropriate board if you want to suggest a change or new feature. Other users can then discuss it.
Feature requests in the general discussion board will be forgotten.
