The attached log file is a recording of "Search everywhere in metadata" operations, in Timeline View.  More specifically, I know that I have a total of 10 MP3 files in my database, with "Ralph Strobel" in their ID3v1 Artist Tags (8 for the year 2018, 2 for 2020).  For this, I have "Ralph Strobel" entered in the Search Bar, with "Search everywhere ..." enabled.  From here, if "Pause if more than 10,000 files" is in effect, and I focus 2020 (Total File Count:  1,637), I get my 2 files for that year, but for 2018 (Total File Count:  12,066), IMatch responds with "No Files".  So, in order to see the actual 8 files that are in 2018, I have to re-enter the search term (or select it from the drop-down list).  On the other hand, all works perfectly well if I disable the Pause button altogether.  Is this behavior a bug, or is it to be expected?

I do not know.
But for me this seems to be perfectly correct, like IMatch works.

BTW: I do not more use the the Pause-Button with my 300'000 images-DB. Because it is not necessary with my 300'000 images-DB, IMatch is quick enough.

My 2 cents.

Best wishes from Switzerland! :-)
