Time to create thumbs?

Yesterday I created a new testbase with 38000 pics. Right now (more than 12 hours later)  a bunch of thumbs seems not to be created. A doubleclick on the unsharp and dark 'prethumb'  shows the original in perfect shape.
Did I something wrong?  Forgot something to do?
Can I force the creation of thumbs?

When you look at the Info & Activity panel, what does it say?
Is IMatch still processing?
Does the number of "entries in queue" go down? Or is it already 0?

There is a reported bug, which has been fixed for build 118, which causes the background processing queue to stop. When you close/re-open the database it continues.
