Title: Batch method to hide Person/Face annotations from the Image Batch Processor
Post by: BanjoTom on May 03, 2020, 11:17:57 PM
I wanted to send a bunch of images to a friend, so I used the Image Batch Processor to resize them and add certain metadata items to the bottom of the canvas.  Worked well, as always.

BUT -- I did not want the green squares with "Person" annotations to show on the exported images.  I was able to uncheck that layer for each image before exporting copies, but then had to re-check each one after I did the Image Batch Processor export.

Is there a way to uncheck the "Person" annotations temporarily for a whole group of files when running the Image Batch Processor? I could find no such instruction in the IMatch help files...

In the Batch Processor, on the Metadata option page, just disable the include annotations settings.
The Batch Processor then no longer renders annotations, including faces.

As always, the IMatch Help System has the details: Include Annotations (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#impexp_batchprocessor.htm?dl=h-86)
