Title: mismatch in face/anno sort order
Post by: peterverm on September 15, 2020, 08:10:15 PM
Hello community,

When i run database diagnostics, i get warnings like "Warning: File [74396] face [56] has a mismatch in face/anno sort order."

How can i find the file ?  the face ?  The numbers [74396] and [56] have no meaning to me.

And once found, what should i do to correct ?

Thanks,

Peter

You can use the File Data App (App Manager) to get all information about a file using its unique id - 74396 in your case.

Does the warning re-appear when you re-run the diagnosis.
The IMatch database diagnosis is very picky but can self-repair almost anything.

thanks for the quick answer.  Indeed, the warning does not reappear.

Case closed.

I have this problem, too. I had "File [77764] has face annotations on multiple layers. This may cause issues with the order in which faces are presented in the File Window and Person variables.", because some face annotations are duplicated (on Person and on Layer). I have deleted deleted the face annotation on Layer, and after that I got this error in the topic title.

Having face annotations on different layers is not a good idea.
You can drop (delete) and let IMatch re-create the face annotations in the correct layer.
You can reorder the face annotations to fix this afterwards. Or you let run the diagnosis and let it fix it for you.

OK, after running Diagnostic several times the "mismatch in face/anno sort order" disappeared. Thanks. :)
