Title: Identifying image cache folders
Post by: jch2103 on October 12, 2013, 12:09:12 AM
Is there an easy way to figure out which of the previewcache folders in C:\ProgramData\photools.com\IMatch5\previewcache are currently used? I have 6 such folders but only 3 (or really only 2) active databases.

Go to Info & Activity and check the folder which is used for a specific database. Mine are at Z:\cache see the image attached. You might delete the other (older) once.

Thanks; I should have seen that! Got rid of 40GB of obsolete preview cache!

Tip: Always use the Database > Tools > Delete Database command in IMatch. This will delete the database and the cache.
