Post by: ben on January 17, 2021, 11:38:51 AM
Please add a keyboard shortcut for "re-applying the current filter from the filter panel"

What does re-applying mean in this context?
The Filter panel applies itself all the time...

I mean the upper left icon in the filter panel, it's hint text is "apply the filter" (see attachement).

My scenario is:
- rejected files hidden (via filter panel)
- when i reject more files in the file window, these newly rejected files still stay in the current scope. I think this behaviour is also described in the help which is absolutely fine.

So, i quite often click the icon to update the file window, i.e. to hide the newly rejected files.
The pause icon already has a keyboard shortcut, but not the apply button.

I have implemented this for the next release. The keyboard shortcut is Shift+Ctrl+F6 (Pause is Ctrl+F6).
Tip: You can press Ctrl+F6 twice to pause/un-pause the filter. Same result.

Cool. Thanks.
And thanks for the "tip" as well.
