Title: Updating the Trial version via the Update Manager requires a license
Post by: plastikman on August 21, 2021, 12:25:50 PM
In my trial version, I get a notification that a new update is available but if I click on it I need to login/verify my license. Since I am using a trial, there is no license.

You should always want your trial users on the latest version.

So there should be a way to circumvent this when running the Trial version. Now I guess I can download and manually update but that doesn't give a good impression.

Trial versions run for 30 days, which is usually much shorter than typical IMatch release intervals.
You usually never come into the situation where a new IMatch version is released while you trial. Typical trial time is maybe one or two weeks?

Even if, just download the latest trial and replace your existing trial. Note that this will not extend your trial period.

The Update is only a convenience feature for users with a valid license only.

No, 30 days as you say yourself :)

I did not mean the expiration but how long users normally trial IMatch before deciding for or against it.
