Title: Identify images requiring face recognition
Post by: Stefanjan on September 10, 2021, 04:49:50 PM
Trying to figure out a method of identifying images where I have not yet run manual face recognition.

In other words all images with zero faces.

That is very easy, and as so often with filtering, the Filter Panel (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#panel_filter.htm) does what you want.

Use the People Filter in the Filter Panel and enable the Files without Faces option: Filter by State (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/#panel_filter.htm?dl=h-34)

Indeed it is, why didn't I look there? I was looking for a difficult solution.

IMatch is a mature application and has many features.
This may be confusing, but IMatch is (mostly) logical.

If you want to search/filter files for some data or attribute or property, the first option is usually the Filter Panel.
For simple searches (like in your browser or Windows Explorer), use the File Window search bar.
For a number of specialized search options, use the File Finder app.
Data-driven categories avoid a lot of searching by automatically organizing your files.

This pretty much deals with anything you may ever encounter in this area.
