I thought I'd share some telemetry data with you:

Note: The . is the German thousands grouping symbol (1.000 = one thousand)
Remember: Enabling telemetry in IMatch helps me to learn how you use IMatch. The more users enable telemetry (via Edit > Preferences Application), the better.
The data is anonymous and only I look at it.
I don't sell or distribute it.
I only keep the data from the past 6 months.
This is very interesting.
And very good of you. You take not only "datas", but give also something back.
Thanks.
I am feeling dwarfed. More than 6 Mio files? ???

That's a peak. But there are many users with > 500,000 managed assets.
6 million files is a good stress and robustness test for the IMatch system (https://www.photools.com/community/Smileys/photools/ashamed06.gif)
I have test databases with 50K, 100K, 200K and almost 1 million files.
Keep in mind that only a part of the IMatch user base enables telemetry.
I can only learn from these users. And they have a strong impact on how IMatch evolves.
Which features I enhance, which features/apps I may drop in future versions, for which areas I put work in to improve performance.
How new features or options are accepted and used.
Of course results take time. Usually I get some good numbers about new features or changes after 2 or 3 months.
Took me a minute to realize you are using the Euro standard of a "." for a ",".. lol... I thought the average was only 2 folders and 100 files... made me feel like a super user! 8)
My German Excel ;D
An 851GB database? WOW!
Size does not really matter ::)
If you use larger thumbnails, a few million files, lotsa metadata...
