I know that from version 2021 the metadata in the videos is generated internally, but is it possible to disable this option and work as in previous versions?
I need to copy metadata from a CSV to many XMP and this would be much faster than writing it to the video files.

Yes. But it is not recommended.

I will not test this. It's non-standard behavior. I have enough to do to test standard behavior for metadata.
