I usually have imatch set up to ignore existing GPS settings, but today I need to correct some GPS data. To do this I clicked on the gear wheel in the map panel. Now I'm stuck.
How do I exit map settings?

You're in the track log settings. The OK/Cancel buttons are at the bottom of the dialog; you may need to temporarily make the Map window taller to see them.
Correct. Or just press <ESC> to cancel the dialog without saving your changes.
To confirm the changes, you must click on OK.
If you make panels very small (like in this case), depending on the panel type and the size of overlays or dialogs, you might need to make some adjustments.
