Title: Code File Exclustion Fail
Post by: Darius1968 on December 10, 2021, 09:50:55 AM
The zip file - uploaded here (https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmYiifRfgrSriiovH2RXl0d4AwGj?e=9p1ZP7) - is about Preferences->File Formats->Program Code File Formats having been disabled.  The follow-up to that was a right-click on C:->Rescan Drive.  This AFAIK should have excluded all 176 such code files from my database, but it didn't.  So, hopefully, this log file helps diagnose why.

Disabling a file format will not remove files already added to the database
Was this the case?

Mario - Yes.  I did a C:->Rescan Drive, after I excluded the file type, via Preferences->File Formats->Program Code File Formats.  But, those 176 files - I no longer wanted - were still in the database.
I stand corrected.

The change in file format support only affects the future.
To remove the files added previously, select them with a file format filter and use the "Remove from Database" command available in the File Window context menu.
