Title: Set Start-up directory
Post by: Rene Toepfer on February 15, 2022, 10:01:10 PM
Hello,

is it possible to set the start-up directory which loads IM in "Media & Folders"? If yes, how can it be set?

I have the issue that IM jumps on almost every start to different images what was opened while closing.

Not a setting that I am aware of.

But maybe you use bookmarks for that? Just drag and drop the folder to the bottom of the "Bookmark" field.
This way you quickly jump to the most important folders.

IMatch remembers the focused file for every View, and also the last activated View.s

I had understood it to always want to start in the same folder.

There is no such feature.
I recommend to select this folder before you close IMatch. Or, create a Favorite for this folder. You can then go to this folder via the Favorite context menu. Or create a bookmark for this folder to quickly navigate to it.

OK, hm... I am really sure that I did not select a folder containing images several years old before closing IM.
A bookmark was not set to any folder.
