How to create a check-the-box category list on my desktop (tear-off panel)? Can't believe I've lost the bubble, but my excuse now is that I've become an octogenarian :-( - Thanks for the help, Bob

You create a favorite panel and pull all the wanted categories into it. Name it CATS.
You can then click on the category entry in the favorite panel (tab CATS) you created to assign categories.

That's a good way to keep favorite categories quickly accessible.
