Today is a special day for me personally. I want to take this opportunity to write a few words about Mario.
With IMatch, Mario has created a product that I have been using since 2001. I used to work with DAM from Extensis and thanks to a user from England (thanks, Michael!) I came across IMatch and have not regretted it for a single day.
There are some very good programs out there, but what makes Mario stand out is that he has remained fair in all areas over the years.
Personally, I think his pricing policy is fair. It's clear that Mario earns money with IMatch, everyone of us has a job or does something to make a living.
And IMatch itself I can't praise enough. I can actually think of almost no image problem that I can't solve with IMatch.
I now have 346,811 files and everything works great. I find images very quickly, and can do many things with them quickly (batch processor, design&print), thanks also to the many possibilities with variables (which I use a lot).
But besides his DAM product, Mario offers a really great help-support-service, either here on the forum or by email. A lot of users here on this forum are also very helpful (thanks to them too!), but there is really hardly a problem from a user where he doesn't give his opinion or concrete help.
I also find his help pages, which you can call up with F1 (online), outstanding. When I compare them with others, I find them really outstanding good and, above all, detailed. Very often there are also real examples that helps me a lot.
I don't know Mario personally, only through this forum here and very rarely via email.
But I just want to thank you again, Mario, for all the work you always do, your patient!!! way with users, and for the super product, IMatch, that I work with every day.
Sorry if this post got a bit too long, but maybe I'm a bit more emotional than usual today. ;D 8) :D
But there are things that can and should be said also once.
I have only been using IMatch for 2 years, but I can only fully agree with what sinus has written!
What Mario has created with IMatch is simply outstanding and his commitment in terms of support is unmatched!

I endorse that entirely. I use only a small sub-set of the app, but its efficiency and reliability, together with super responsive support, make it worth every penny, pfennig, sous, dime.
You can certainly add me to the long list of Mario's admirers. IMatch is an indispensable product, with unmatched support by its creator.
Here here and well said Markus!!! I used tons of software on a daily basis but THIS is the only forum I visit multiple times per day for not only support issues, but for news, developer insights and a community where I consider fellow members as fond acquaintances! Mario's support and dedication to his product is 2nd to none...

Mario - with his IMatch - is a class act, with his product on the market because it's a labor of love - something which gives him pride, when his user base proves productive with IMatch!

One thing that the software is good, but more important the SUPPORT wich is unique: responsive, helpful, solution-oriented and really userfriendly. And Mario is the great gardener of this forum. Sometime I just read the posts to chear up.

Though by far I don't use all/most of IMatch functions, I am finally happy that I found a home for my pictures (meanwhile around 130.000).
The software itself, combined with the support in this forum and the very neat and in-depth online help make it always fun to work with it. And makes one upgrade to a newer version, if not for the new functions, then for showing appreciation to the hard development Mario put into it.
