Title: Red stripe in thumbnail
Post by: Rolf Beckers on November 22, 2022, 01:08:37 AM
Hello all,
can someone please tell me why I have a thin red line at the bottom of a few preview files (thumbnails), i.e. below the star rating?
These are DNG files, but I'm not sure if other files are also displayed.
I haven't found anything in the search, but maybe I have overlooked something simple.

Do you mean as shown in attached screenshot?  If so, it means you have assigned the images to a category to which you have activated colour coding.  It displays the colour you have chosen.

Check Searching for Duplicate Files (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/rmh_config_indexing.htm?dl=a_dupes)
The default category for duplicate files uses a red color-coding.

The default is to check for duplicates with the same file format.
If many 'false' duplicates are found, switch to "Binary Identical" or disable the feature.
Or remove the color-coding for the category used to store duplicate files.
