I have several hundred files on M&F.
I have the focus on a jpg file located somewhere in the middle of the files. There are also NEF and psd files. When I now activate a filter (Filter manager. Ctrl F6) to show only jpg files, the displayed thumbnails change, the focused file is no longer visible on the screen. The same moving away happens when I disable the filter.
I could not find an explanation as to where the screen moves - up or down, and by how much.
This might be a side effect of my trying to fix the "IMatch scrolls back to the focused file, even when I have scrolled the File Window to another position with the mouse" nuisance reported by many users.
As I said, the File Window updates often, and often drastically, like the user removing a ton of files previously in the File Window with a filter. And now we have it. Fixing one problem caused another.
I'll look into it.
For now,<Ctrl>+<G>,<O> brings the focused file into view. <Ctrl>+<G>,<F> scrolls to the first selected file etc.
There are other related commands, see the "Advanced Functions" menu in the File Window context menu.
I have fixed this for IMatch 2023.1.11.
