1. IMatch determines if a folder is on-line / accessible by asking Windows for some information about the folder (GetFileAttributes). If this returns an error, IMatch assumes that the folder is off-line.
If your NAS box returns an error, this will be the result.
1. Check if the media serial number and label matches the corresponding drive / share in your IMatch database.
If they don't match, you need to relocate the folder.
Some SAMBA instances running on some Linux versions running on some NAS boxes are known to randomly change the media serial number or label. Make sure all the software on your NAS is up-to-date.

That's a good point! Synology distributed an update of Samba with latest DSM 7.2 which I have installed today. As long as DSM 7.1 was running on the NAS IM determinded as on-line even the minor updates.
Is it possible to supress determination of IM with regards of a serial number of a drive?

No.
Thanks for your support! Afterwards relocating all files are determined as online again.
Maybe it was just a one-time thing, after installing the new SAMBA version.
