If we right click on a Day Node in the Timeline View, and select Create event for the selected time range:

...this creates an empty event in the Event View:

But if we instead press Ctrl+A in that Timeline View Filewindow, and then right click and select Create event from selection, this creates a File-based Event (which of course does show all the files from that Timeline Node).
