Title: Function to log new/ changed files?
Post by: RobiWan on March 15, 2024, 07:26:57 PM
Hi,

is there a function or similar with which you can write to a file which files have been added to the database in a session and which have been changed?

Something like:

NEW - c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_1234.cr3
NEW - c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_2345.cr3
NEW - c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_3456.cr3
CHANGED -  c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_9876.cr3
CHANGED -  c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_8765.cr3
CHANGED -  c:\dslr\dslr-raw\img_7654.cr3

I mean you can find this information in the IMatch log. But this is rather longer and more complicated when it comes to many files

You can find this information (more or less) in the Collections view:

The collection is of course based on date, not on "sessions" (what exactly should this be?). If you really need to write the list of files e.g. changed today to a file, you could the Copy Data App to produce a list of file names, copy this list to the clipboard and from there into a text editor.

Also have a look at the IMatch Dashboard (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/dashboard.htm?dl=hid-1)
