Title: Changing only the year on Images using File.MD.XMP::xmp\CreateDate\CreateDate\0
Post by: kiwilink on January 14, 2025, 03:31:28 PM
I have 70 images that have the wrong year (they are 1965 instead of 1986.  I want to preserve the month/day/hour/minute.  Is there a way to change all of them at once?

{File.MD.XMP::xmp\CreateDate\CreateDate\0}

I usually go to the Metadata and scroll to the bottom and change the below because this is exactly what I want to change.  I use this for my sorting and my images are organized by the below.  Didn't want to do one at a time.

Could use Timewiz and increase by one year but not sure that it is changing  File.MD.XMP::xmp\CreateDate\CreateDate\0 .  Looking for a suggestion.

Thank you!

Hi,
I would use TimeWiz (Tools -> TimeWiz: Change date and time in files...). Very powerful.
