The help Menu says
"To remove files from a File Event, select the files in the Event View and press U."
I opened up the event and went to the bottom of the screen and hit U but nothing happened. Is there a context menu where I right click and hit remove (I thought I remember seeing this).
Thanks

Is this an event based on a individual selection of files (File Event)?
If the event is based on a folder or a time period, <U> cannot work, because the contents of the event reflect the files in the folder or the files within the time period.
I went to Categories and then Selected the files I wanted and then right clicked "Create Event". Now I see a few images that should not have been there and I want to highlight the images while looking at them in the Event view and remove them. I was under the impression I could add or remove images to the event without leaving the Event view.
If it is a file-based event, <U> will work in the event view. Just tried, and it works as it should.
Did you click into the File Window before pressing <U>?
When your right click a file in the File Window in the event view, does the Events > Remove selected files from event work?
I've just tried both methods (menu command and <U>) and it worked.
Double-click the Event and double-check that it is a file-based event:

This must show in the Event Editor.
Thank you. Yes, it was a folder based event and not file based. As soon as I converted it to files the U worked.
