Title: Question: file formats of the data-based categories
Post by: Uwe on March 25, 2025, 02:37:24 PM
Hello,
I can restrict the validity to certain file formats in the settings of the data-based categories by specifying all desired formats. In some cases I would like to exclude only one or two formats from a total of 20, e.g. -.gpx, -.svg, instead of specifying 18 formats of the possible total, as in the example. Is that possible?
thanks, Uwe

You can limit data-driven categories to consider only specific file formats as documented in the help: File Formats (https://www.photools.com/help/imatch/cat_data.htm?dl=hid-16)
You cannot configure "all formats but not these", which is what you want to do, when I understand your post correctly.
