Title: HD Volume and Thumbnails are duplicated
Post by: grauschaf on April 23, 2025, 09:15:42 AM
I have changed the name of my drive D:\ from 'Projects' to 'Photo raw/Video' under Windows 11. IMatch then shows the D: drive under 'Photo raw/Video(D:)' in the Media & Folder view (Screenshot).
In addition, all thumbnails for the directories under D: are displayed twice. So I have twice as many entries for each directory.
Relocating or rescanning the directories does not solve the problem.
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem? Many thanks in advance, Gerd

Looks like you added the folders again instead of using the relocate command to tell IMatch that you have renamed the drive.

Restore your last database backup and then use the Relocate command on the D: drive to tell IMatch that the drive has been renamed/replaced.

If you have no recent backup, you need to sort the mess out yourself. Use the "Remove folder from database" command to remove unwanted duplicates.
