This is covered in the post How to migrate your categories from IMatch 3 to IMatch 5 (https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?topic=66.0) which is in the Beta Tester's Guide and FAQ (https://www.photools.com/community/index.php?board=17.0) board.
The information in this post is now somewhat superseded by availability of the Database Converter which converts categories automatically.
