Title: Why are annotations disabled?
Post by: ChrisMatch on February 24, 2014, 08:53:49 PM
Hi

Since a few days I noticed that I can't activate the "Annotation Panel"
(it is also disabled in the context menu).

I have not found a hint in the help how to enable it.
Maybe missing something obvious?

Would appreciate any hint.
Thanks
Chris

They work here for me, at least with jpg images.

You need to toggle the visual proxy, at least I had to.

Correct. Annotations are only enabled when the Viewer displays the real image, and not a visual proxy. The Viewer help explains that, under the Visual Proxy headline.

Thanks - so simple!
(I have searched the help within the Annotation topic - should have scanned the whole Viewer topic.)
