Title: Lost my Original Views by playing with the Panels - Trying to Get it Back
Post by: kiwilink on July 02, 2013, 02:27:37 PM
I was playing with the panels and lost my original view.  Going to "view, workspaces, and hitting default"  has not brought me back to the way it looked when I first installed IMATCH 5.  Is there a way I can get back to the way it was originally?  I love exploring the program but I'm finding that its easy for me to mess up the original look.

Close IMatch.
Start it again via the desktop shortcut while pressing and holding the <Ctrl> key.
This will open IMatch in recovery mode.
In the dialog, choose "Reset Workspace".

Wow!
Fantastic foresight (by including this recovery step) on your behalf Mario, thank you!

I'm finding the versatility of layout options to be the most tantalisingly time-consuming phase in my getting-to-know IMatch 5!  I really need to settle on a "good enough" layout for now, and move on with studying (and drooling in anticipation of) this new DAM toolset's features.
