Title: Multi level data driven category based on location tags and green label
Post by: KimAbel on March 27, 2014, 09:37:50 AM
Is there a way to set up a multi level data driven category based on Country, State, City and location and just include photos with a green label? I know that i can filter the data driven category, but then I also get all my other photos listed in the category tree. I want to show just the values for photos with a green label.
Regards

You can filter on the label, but only if you include the label as a level. Data-driven categories cannot filter by other metadata - with the exception of file extensions.

Thanks for the quick answer Mario :-)

It worked when I set label as level one, and then Country/State/City/location as level 2, 3, 4 and 5 :-)

Yes. This is the only way to do it. With the potential drawback that you have the label as the first level. If this does not matter, you have the solution  :)

This works well Mario:-) At least in this case where the number of categories for label are just a few. Perhaps this would be more troublesome in cases with many values in the first level and you are only interested in one or a few of the values.
