Title: File Icon
Post by: cthomas on April 05, 2014, 05:45:17 AM
When I create an IMatch 3 database the file name begins with an icon that looks like a blue computer. And when I create an IMatch 5 database the file name begins with an icon that looks like a pice of paper with the corrner turned down. Should not both of them begin with a blue computer icon?

IMatch currently does not associate a special icon with the database files. Windows 8 thus shows you a normal document icon. No problem with that.
I may find some free time some time to change that in the installer.

Windows does not care for the icon, and neither does IMatch.
Usually you work only with one database, and IMatch loads that database automatically anyway.
No need to work with database files directly in the file system, which is why the generic document is usually sufficient.
