Title: Coying metadata between files
Post by: bjharris on April 16, 2014, 02:21:48 AM
I miss the IMatch 3 [ctrl+alt+C] (copy) and [ctrl+alt+V] (paste), especially for copying categories between files. How do you do this in IMatch 5?

Select your source image then Right Click > Clipboard > Copy

Select your destination images then Right Click > Clipboard > Paste Attributes

Or: <Ctrl>+<C> to copy, then <Shift>+<Ctrl>+<V>

Click <F1> in the dialog that opens for details.

For a list of all frequently used features and their keyboard shortcuts, see the IMatch Quick Start Guide (Help menu).

Thank you, John & Mario. A very useful function, and even better than I'd hoped. I'd missed it in the Help. :D

How did you search for it? I just typed Copy into the Index and it was the first hit. If you tell me the keywords you used for the search I can add them and link them to the Copy Attributes topic. I have no already added: Copy, Categories and Categories,Copy so other users will find it easier.
